There were four games on the schedule on Tuesday in the NBA preseason. The preseason is winding down as the regular season is less than ten days away. Here is a recap of Tuesday’s action.
The Chicago Bulls beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 94-89. The Bulls were led by Carlos Boozer with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were held out of the game by head coach Scott Brooks for Oklahoma City. The Bulls are now 4-2 in the preseason while the Thunder dropped to 3-3.
The Miami Heat beat the Charlotte Bobcats 98-92 in Raleigh, NC. Chris Bosh led the Heat with 21 points. Lebron James added 10 points and 8 assists. Ray Allen also chipped in 15 points for the Heat. Ramone Sessions and Kemba Walker each had 24 points to lead the Bobcats. Bosh was 8 of 12 from the field in 25 minutes of action. ”It was just a good day,” Bosh said. ”I feel any time I’m aggressive, I can just be effective in some kind of way.”
The Indiana Pacers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 100-82. David West led the Pacers with 15 points and Paul George added 14. Danny Granger made his preseason debut for the Pacers following injury to his left knee. He had a four of seven night from the floor in 13 minutes. Kyrie Irving led the Cavs with 20 points.
The Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 107-92. David Lee and rookie Harrison Barnes led the Warriors with 16 points each. Jarret Jack, starting in place of injured Stephen Curry, chipped in 13 points and nine assists for Golden State. Marcin Gortat led the Suns with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
On Monday night Toronto beat Milwaukee 104-95, Dallas beat New Orleans 87-74, Portland beat Utah 120-114, Philadelphia beat New York 98-90, Phoenix topped Sacramento 103-88 and the L. A. Clippers beat Golden State 88-71.
