Last night we gave you our picks for the top four seeds for the NCAA Tournament. One of those teams has promptly gone out and lost already. The Butler Bulldogs lost tonight at home to the St. Louis Billikens. Don’t be surprised to see St Louis on the lost this time.

#5 seeds- Marquette Golden Eagles, Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, Colorado State Rams, Kansas State Wildcats- The Rams are playing great even in the very tough Mountain West conference at 21-5.

Middle Tennessee is 24-4 and has two wins over top 100 teams in the RPI. The win over Ole Miss looked really good for a while but the Rebels fading has hurt them a bit.

Marquette has a record of 19-6 in the brutal Big East. They have beaten Wisconsin, Georgetown, UConn and Pitt twice.

Kansas State is tied for first in the Big 12 at 21-5. They have beaten Florida, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma twice and Baylor.

#6 seeds- Ohio State Buckeyes, UNLV Running Rebels, Colorado Buffaloes, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Wisconsin Badgers.

Ohio State has a 19-7 mark in the brutal Big Ten. They have wins over Washington, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.They have both Michigan State and Indiana to try and get another big win.

UNLV is part of the very tough Mountain West. They have a record of 20-7 with wins over California, San Diego State twice, New Mexico and Colorado State.

Colorado is 18-8 and has wins over Baylor, Colorado State, California, Oregon and Arizona.

Wisconsin is 19-8 in the brutal Big Ten with wins over Cal, Illinois twice, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio State.

#7 seeds- Oklahoma Sooners, Wichita State Shockers, San Diego State Aztecs, Illinois illini

Oklahoma is a very good #18 in the RPI with wins over Oklahoma State, Kansas, Baylor and Texas A&M.

Wichita State is 23-5 with wins over VCU, Creighton, Air Force, DePaul and Iowa.

San Diego State is 19-7 with wins over USC, UCLA, Colorado State and New Mexico.

Illinois is 20-8 with wins over Butler, Gonzaga, Ohio State, Indiana and Minnesota.

#8 seeds- North Carolina Tar Heels, Missouri Tigers, St Louis Billikens, VCU Rams-

North Carolina is 18-8 with wins over UNLV, Maryland and Virginia. Big games left with NC State and Duke.

Missouri is 19-7 with wins over Stanford, VCU, Illinois, Alabama, Ole Miss and Florida.

St Louis is 21-5 with wins over Texas A&M, New Mexico, Butler twice and VCU.

VCU is 21-6 with wins over Memphis, Belmont, Alabama and Lehigh.

Of course this will probably change a lot over the next two weeks but as of right now, this is how we see the top half of the brackets.
